Why Design Workshops
Before we begin any programming work, it is essential to create a technical design for the application. In order to build the design, we need to know its detailed requirements. The document that describes these requirements is called the application specification, and it serves as the starting point for any further work. Due to the technical nature of the specification and the amount of detail it must contain, individuals not involved in software development on a daily basis may have difficulty preparing it on their own.

How the Design Workshops Work
The workshops are conducted as meetings, either online or at the client's location. The number of meetings depends on the size and complexity of the project. For simpler projects, one four-hour meeting may be sufficient. For more complex ones, it may involve several four- or eight-hour meetings. The final outcome of the workshops is a detailed document describing the planned application — the specification . We prepare it within the agreed timeframe after the completion of the workshops with the client.

How Much Do the Design Workshops Cost
Creating a specification consists of 3 steps.
The first is meetings with the client, the second is internal work with a business analyst, and the final step is writing the specification itself. The total time required to prepare the document (and thus the cost) is proportional to the meeting time. The cost of one full day of workshops is 2000 PLN net. It's important to note that the number of meetings required to prepare the specification — and thus the cost — is significantly lower when the client has a clear and well-thought-out vision of the application. Therefore, it's worth preparing for the workshops.
